Tec Sidemount
Description
Carrying more than one tank has become increasingly popular in technical diving. The PADI Tec Sidemount Diver course teaches you to configure and dive multiple cylinders in a sidemount setup, and it integrates seamlessly with TecRec courses such as Tec 40, Tec 45 and Tec 50.
Academic
In the Tec Sidemount course you’ll learn to:
- Configure multiple cylinders in a sidemount setup
- Apply technical diving fundamentals that carry across the TecRec courses
- Develop skills that transfer to advanced technical certifications

Equipment
You’ll dive multiple tanks rigged in a sidemount configuration along with the technical diving gear appropriate for tec operations. Our team will help you set up the right kit.
Getting Started
To enrol in Tec Sidemount you need:
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or qualifying certification)
- A minimum of 30 logged dives
- To be at least 18 years old
PADI Enriched Air Diver is recommended. Sign up for the package and our team will contact you to schedule your training.
