Tec 50

The PADI Tec 50 course is the final stage of the Tec Deep Diver program, qualifying you to make extended-range technical dives to a maximum depth of 50 metres / 165 feet. You’ll learn to perform multiple decompression stops using two decompression gases.

In the Tec 50 course you’ll learn to:

• Make extended-range dives to 50 m / 165 ft
• Perform multiple decompression stops
• Use two decompression gases on a single dive
• Apply advanced technical diving skills and safety protocols

Course materials are available in English.

You’ll dive a technical configuration with double cylinders and two decompression cylinders. The appropriate technical equipment is required and can be arranged.

To enrol in Tec 50 you need:

• PADI Tec 45 Diver
• PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent with current CPR & First Aid within 24 months)
• A minimum of 100 logged dives or 75 hours of dive time
• To be at least 18 years old
• A Diver Medical signed by a physician within the last 12 months
